Monica Malpass is the co-anchor of action news at WPVI-television channel 6. In January 1988, Monica Malpass joined WPVI-television channel. Monica Malpass is also the anchor of “Inside Story,” this political discussion program is an award winning program for political discussion in North California; she also was the reporter of “The Daily Tar Heel.”
In 1999, Monica Malpass got her Master of Arts degree from Villanova University. From the University of North California, she got the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 1983. Neumann College honored her and gave her honorary degree “Doctorate of Humane Letters.” Monica Malpass was the member of World Affairs Council too.

She covered the news of Princess Lady Diana’s funeral at London in 1997, John Kennedy’s plane crash. In 2005, she made the coverage of Eagles’ Super Bowl game. She reported the inaugural ceremony of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

However, she kept the secret and did not mention the father name of her upcoming twins yet.
Steve Thorne, who is the owner of Eastern Auto Parts, ended his engagement with Monica Malpass in October 2006. The reason of this break in relationship was that Steve Thorne did not want kids while Monica Malpass desired children. Recently, her ex-fiance Steve took legal action against her for not returning the engagement ring to him.
