China calls for immediate action by the UN Security Council against Israel associated with the Jewish state's military assault on the peace ship in international waters off the Gaza coast last Monday.
"China shock over the Israeli attacks against international aid convoy to Gaza, which caused many deaths," said China's UN permanent perwakian Yang Tao, in front of the forum UN Security Council emergency session on Monday (31 / 5).
"We condemn the Israeli actions that make civilians and international volunteers as a target of attack. We support an immediate response by the UN Security Council," he asserted.
"We also call upon Israel to immediately implement fully UN Security Council Resolution No. 1860, opened the door of the border entirely, and end the blockade of the Gaza Strip so that humanitarian aid could reach Gaza and local residents can enjoy a normal life," he added, quoted by Xinhua news agency.
